Admissions Requirements

In order to schedule an appointment to have your application and documents reviewed in person at the Finishing Trades Institute of DC 14 Chicago you must be able to check ALL of the requirements below. Our program is governed by the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship and thus must follow all legal guidelines. Substitutions and/or deviations from these requirements will NOT be allowed.

CHECK EACH BOX BELOW IF IT APPLIES:

I am at least 18 years old

I will pass the REQUIRED Drug Test

I speak English well enough and do NOT need an interpreter

I have my High School Diploma, GED, or Transcripts

I have my Birth Certificate

I have my Social Security Card

I have my Driver's License or State ID

All applicants missing documents at the time of the appointment will not be permitted to fill out an application.
